First day of the internship! We just toured today and talked about what we'd be doing, and what we wanna do. The other interns are pretty cool, and the sanctuary is just plain neat. If I liked the desert better, I'd wanna move here for the sanctuary. =P<br /><br />Got a few good pics; I'll get more as time goes on. I'm already planning on where to work after this first week! Kitties for meeeee! And horses. I really wanna learn more about horses. <br /><br />All the interns went out to dinner with the intern manager, Danielle. Fun times, and the food at the diner was really good.<br /><br />They're talking about us all going camping at Zion National Park.... I wanna, but I dun wanna. >_> Damn phobia of bugs.... My awesome super mommy did ALL the driving. <br /><br />The view is quite atrocious until you get to the mountains in Colorado. XD Not bad though. Just gotta get used to it. ^_^<br /><br />Did a short trip to Best Friends. Was gonna take the tour, but they were full. Sooo, we just wondered around the welcome area which has some horses nearby and the pot bellied pig area. Saw a nice cluster of humming birds. =D I've only seen like one before, so seeing like 5 all together was really neat. We also visited Angel's Rest, which is really, really pretty and peaceful. There is a ton of wind chimes. My mom thought they were a little creepy, but I found it peaceful.<br /><br />Gotta drive mommy to Los Vegas tomorrow for her plane. I leave friday morning, and will get there saturday night. Quite excited!
